If you’re ready to embody plus size couples goals, you’ve got to start with your bio. I’ve narrowed down the perfect dating profile bio into 4 parts: who you are, what you love, what you’re learning, and what you’re looking for. Let’s dive in!
Who You Are
This part of your bio is where you share your core identities. This could reflect your sexuality, gender, ethnicity, beliefs, spirituality, kink preferences, etc. For example, I would share that I’m fat positive, ADHD, non-binary, and queer. Sharing these core qualities gives potential matches an idea of where you come from and what you value.
What You Love
Passion isn’t just for the bedroom! Seeing potential dates feel passionate about something can be a total turn-on, and could even be something you have in common. Share something that you love deeply, is important to you, and is something you are always open to talking about.
What You’re Learning
If you want to make your plus size tinder bio shine, don’t skip this one! Showing potential matches you like to do/try new things says SO much about you: you’re comfortable with not being good at something, you’re dedicated to learn, and you’re open to new connections. This could spark conversation from someone who is also learning the same skill, or someone who is an expert!
Just think, if you’re learning French, you could match with a bilingual hottie and get a personal tutor! Maybe your future boo wants to sit and embroider with you while watching Catfish! So many possibilities.
What You’re Looking For
This is probably the most important plus size dating tip I could ever give you: tell them what you want!! Instead of making people guess, give them the power to know they have a good chance with you. Photos can seriously make or BREAK a dating profile. So it’s important to choose photos that share your authentically. Here are 5 photos that will catch the interest of your potential new boo:
Full-Body Shot
Putting this right at the top because yeah, you HAVE to share a photo of your whole body. That might feel uncomfortable. You might not feel super confident in your body right now. That’s okay, because someone is going to think you are the HOTTEST thing since red hot cheetos. But if you don’t share your whole self, it can lead to disappointment down the road.
Smile Selfie
Call me shallow but if someone doesn’t share a photo smiling with teeth, I never swipe right. I don’t CARE what your teeth look like, but seeing a genuine smile, a smile I could fall in love with, makes a huge difference in my attraction and interest. Sharing a photo of you smiling communicates confident and warmth!
In Action
Let’s see what you can do, babe!! Showing an action photo (maybe something you love or something you’re learning) is a fun way to show off a skill and start a conversation. Honestly some people will never even read your bio (unfortunately) so communicating your interests through photos is crucial.
Sexy Moment
Be super flexible with what a sexy moment means to you. This could be a photo from when you were feeling yourself on a night out, a simple self-timer shot from your bed, or a professional boudoir shot! Don’t think about what someone else will find sexy, think about when YOU felt sexy.
With Friends
Human friends, animal friends, whatever! For potential matches, seeing how you interact with the world around you can spark interest. Did you and your friends visit a new city? Or go out to party? Throw a Halloween party? Or maybe you have chickens?? All up to you!
