Curious if Beducated is right for you? In this post I’ll share my honest Beducated review, from the perspective of queer non-binary femme!
When I was approached by Beducated to work together, I wasn’t sure what to expect. There are so many online learning platforms, what made this one so different? But only after a few months of using the platform did I realize how valuable this kind of resource is! This post isn’t sponsored, but I am an affiliate partner of Beducated. I just want to share so you can feel confident in your decision to invest in this platform!
You might be wondering, is this for ME? At the end of this post, you’ll know if the Beducated app is for you. And you can use the Beducated discount code Maggie to join for $10/month!
Honest Beducated Review
Good Course Selection
Obviously you want to get a good return on your investment. What I really appreciate about Beducated is that they have a vast library of videos, and they are always adding more content to their library. When I first learned about Beducated, I saw there was some queer-focused content, but no fat-focused content. I gave them the suggestion, and now there are SO many courses for fat babes! Courses on body confidence in the bedroom, how to be present during intimacy, logistical advice for certain positions, and more.
Their video library doesn’t just cover physical aspects of intimacy, either. Don’t get me wrong, there are A LOT of explicitly helpful how-tos. Like, you can see a man go to TOWN on a nectarine and it’ll make you blush. But you’ll also find videos about the mental aspect of intimacy: online dating, exploring non-monogamy, and pleasure mapping.
Useful for Singles and Couples
If you’re not currently in a relationship, you might think Beducated doesn’t apply to you, but it does! There are tons of videos for solo exploration and dating in general. You can learn how to explore your fantasies, give your downtown area an intimate massage, or practice your strip tease skills. Whether you’re new or seasoned, you can always brush up or learn some new techniques to bring your partner’s experience to a whole other level!
If you’re partnered, Beducated is a great way to start conversations and spice things up a bit. You could set aside time to watch one video a month and implement what you’ve learned. Or you can both secretly pick a video and show off your new skills on a sensual date night. If you feel shy to ask for or talk about intimacy, Beducated is a fantastic way to break the ice.

Course Quality Varies
Beducated is a collection of courses from different creators and teachers. Some videos are better than others. I was a bit disappointed that the Strap course was a recording of an in-person training and felt disconnected. This is still a skill I want to learn! But I would say 95% of the courses are thoughtful and professionally produced.
You might not like a teacher, or the way a video is presented. Some video titles are still a bit binary (like “Female Pleasure”) but I’ve found that in most courses, they do their best to be gender neutral when talking about body parts.
Judgement Free Vibe
Admitting that you still have learning to do when it comes to intimacy can feel embarrassing. I felt that way too! I didn’t even know what felt best for the body that I’ve inhabited for 30 years.
Thankfully Beducated courses have the most kind and nonjudgemental attitudes towards learning. “No one is born knowing how to do X” is a phrase I hear often in the videos. It is SO refreshing and affirming to hear, isn’t it? In an society where the expectation is to be fantastic in bed, to communicate telepathically with your playmate, Beducated is a breath of fresh air.
Accessible with Captions and Speed Control
Nothing irks me more than not having captions!! Especially in a learning environment. Thankfully Beducated has captions for all of its videos, so it’s much easier to follow along and learn. I also love that there are options to watch faster or slower, because I’m impatient and have ADHD so being able to crank it up to x1.5 is fantasitc.

Growing Queer Offerings
When I first joined Beducated there were not many queer-specific courses, but that has changed so much! There’s a tantric massage for queer bodies course that I enjoyed watching on many levels. There are also videos on sexual orientation, understanding gender, male to male pleasure, and more. Many of the course can be applicable to queer folks, but it’s also nice to have dedicated videos just for us.
Fat Positive Content
If you’re looking for courses with fat-competent teachers, this is it! I enjoyed a particular teacher so much, I bought a private support session with her when I was struggling with intimacy. There’s even a course called Plus Size Sexy Skills!!
I’m pushing for a course about positions for larger bodies, but I’m not sure that content exists yet. It really should!! And I volunteer as tribute to be the model!
